Chris makes JV Football

A slightly belated congrats to Christopher, who has made the cut for the CMW JV football team. Way to go Chris!! Right now, he hasn't mentioned that he has played QB and receiver, and is content just working hard with all the other grunts on the team. He has taken to the role of a backup center and a longsnapper. Interesting. Unofficially 5' 5'', 142 pounds. Center? By far the smallest on the line, but he's proving very tough.

She's Gone

Corinne has moved into college. Her dorm is spacious IMHO, although it is not the most spacious of her quad. Her roommate seems very nice. The view from the only window in her room--the school's football team's practice field. Which means she's waking up to the coaches whistle every morning. He he!

And she hasn't forgotten about us yet (classes don't start until Monday). So we'll be crossing the Potomac this weekend also, but we won't be waist deep like others in the family.

Les Miserables

Wow, what a great show! Unbelievable that it was put together in two weeks. Bravo! I saw it four times, but only because I had conflicts on the other two performances. Laura saw it five times. I only took pictures once, but they're not too shabby if I do say so myself--no flash photography you know...
